“GUNS DOWN, ARTISTS UP”

The “Guns Down, Artists Up” initiative: A Rise Uniting People organization campaign to lift artists out of dangerous lifestyles and guide them toward peace and success. Through forums, showcases, contests and professional guidance, we give artists opportunities to advance their careers, gain exposure to a massive audience and provide them with resources to reach their full potential.

RISE (Revive, Inspire, Support, Encourage). Rise Uniting People is a 501 c (3) organization that unites people for initiatives to help adults, children and at-risk-youths rise above issues related to poverty, lack of resources and lack of education.

Ending Hunger

We believe every tummy deserves to be full. Thatʼs why connect the food insecure with food pantries and prepared food sources that help them stay nourished.

Safe Spaces

We create places where kids and families can feel safe and have fun. Itʼs like a big, cozy blanket of care where everyone can relax, play, learn, and be themselves!

RETURNING CITIZENS

With the help of our partner organizations we have created a wealth of resources that support the families of incarcerated individuals and ensure their transition back into society is smooth.

Support of community activism and those who do the hard work day in and out of advocacy is our main goal.
